FIFO, DIDO and all resources industry workers based in the Mackay region are encouraged to get vaccinated at the vaccination hub at the Mackay Showgrounds, which will soon ramp up to 1000 appointments per day.

The Mackay Hospital and Health Service has advised that bookings are preferred, but that walk-ins will not be turned away.
