28 March | FIFO charter flights

With imminent further curtailment of domestic intrastate and interstate flights likely in the next 48 hours, resource companies are strongly advised to put in place plans to use charter flights for the FIFO component of their workforce. Where necessary, this would be in

• co-operation with other companies operating in your area/region.
• Protocols of temperature testing before boarding and social separation in boarding and arrivals areas must also be enforced.

QRC Chief Executive Ian Macfarlane has been advised by CME, our sister organisation in Western Australia, that resource companies in that state are moving to procure C19 test kits for use in their operations.
