The below Health Directive was updated last night to exclude resource sector mess facilities from being required to close.
To retain this exclusion it is essential that resource sector mess facilities must observe social distancing including through:
- physical reminders (eg markers on the ground, separated tables, signage)
- operational (eg limiting numbers of people into mess facilities based on square metres of facilities) and
- behavioural (eg reminding users of facilities of their personal responsibility to socially distance and behave accordingly).
Please ensure your mess operators are applying these requirements strictly.
